Are
your affairs in order? In
a will, you specify
who'll
receive your things when
you die (rather
than the state
deciding),
and who is
entrusted with your
minor children (otherwise a judge decides). Name someone
(an executor)
who'll
handle
your estate, and make sure he or she has a copy (or even the original) of your will and
other estate planning documents (Titles, Deeds, etc.). It's always a good idea that your executor have a list of those
you do business with (lawyers,
bankers, tax advisers,
utility companies,
landscapers,
pest
control, etc.)
- your
executor, and heirs, will thank you! For
